This couple definitely brought their own style and edge. We were happy to be a part of their special day!
It's such an exciting moment when you tell your future husband (or wife) Yes! I will marry you! Some have dreamed of that moment and planned out every detail of their wedding day for years, while others are shooting from the hip. Most brides/grooms fall somewhere in between; they have a vision but don't really know where to start or what all resources are out there. Fortunately, there are many websites now that are devoted to bringing all of the vendors and resources together in some format, from simple lists to complete wedding planning sites.
I've been actively involved in over one hundred weddings, from being a bride myself to coordinating other bride's events, and throughout that time I have come across some awesome websites that are specifically designed to be a bride's (or groom's!) best friend.
I hope you find some great resources, and if yo know of any that are not on the list please mention them in a comment!
www.mywedding.com (A great wedding planning site. Allows you to upload information and actually build your own wedding site!)
www.theweddingpost.com (A site with a great list of Arkansas wedding resources. Yes, we're on the list!)
www.weddingwire.com (This site has vendors with reviews from clients)
www.theknot.com (Has everything you need, from budgeting tools to a planning checklist)
www.ewedding.com (Another build-your-own wedding site)
Have fun and good planning!
Congratulations to this spunky couple! The rustic, vintage decor was simple and perfect. Thank you for sharing your day with us!
Things have been happening at our venue the past couple of weeks, some clean up and maintenance as well as some construction. The house is where our clients get dressed and ready for their wedding or other event, and it is a nice area for close friends and family to "hang out" while the ladies are getting hair and makeup done. Attached to the house is a porch/deck and it was a nice space as it was, but the past couple of weekends we have been working on adding a railing. Our original purpose for adding the railing was to make it safer, but after seeing the finished product it really makes the deck feel more like an additional outdoor space. I can't wait to see people enjoying and taking advantage of it!
Thanks to Lee Perry, Antony Willis, Lain Willis, Bobby King, and Tracy King for the hard work. It was definitely a team effort!
Happy February! Our wedding and event season has not yet begun but we are definitely staying busy. After the holidays we have received a ton of emails and calls inquiring about our open dates, and our calendar is filling fast. We do still have a few dates available in the spring and fall, and if you would like to see the venue we would be happy to show you around and answer any questions.
Our website has definitely needed some revamping. The new site features some updated photos on our Gallery page and links to our social media networks, including our Twitter account @Twin-Creeks. Please feel free to share comments or photos if you've been part of one of our events. Thank you for looking at our site!
